This started as a practice exercise with gradient meshes and quickly got out of hand... Hope you like. I'm thinking of offering prints of my vector illustrations... what do you think?
Illustrator 9:// 750 paths, 5374 points... too many hours of work. For a laugh, compare this piece to my very first attempt at a vector vehicle with a gradient mesh [Waaay Old Honda Integra Type R] and see how far I've come in 2-3 years. Proof that practice makes on suck considerably less. Edit: The more I looked at it.. the more I hated the background.. so I nix'd it in favor of a simpler look with a shadow. I hope the changes add more realism to the piece and I hope you guys like the changes! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
